The Great Hazrat Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz (R.A),
from early childhood, liked the society of
mystics, saints and darveshes. He met a
number of saints and sages of his time. On
his way to Haroon (Harwani), he stayed in
Baghdad and met the derveshes and saints. He
specially met Shaikh Abu Najeeb Sohra Wardy
(R) in 555 Hijri.
Khawaja Baba met the high and dignified
saint, who was aged one hundred and seventy
years named Hazrat Abu Sayeed Abul Khair and
Shaikh Abul Hasan Khirqani. This meeting
took place in Astrabad in 557 Hijri.
In Tabrez, he met the great saint, Hazrat
Khwaja Abu Sayeed Tabrezi. He is the
spiritual teacher of Hazrat Jalaluddin
Tabrezi, 557 Hjri.
After leaving Baghdad, the Great Khwaja Baba
(R.A.) reached Hamdani, where he met Shaikh
Yousuf Hamdan, 557 Hijri.
