The Ajmer soil is proud to be the centre of
Pilgrims and V.I.P's visits like foreign
Premiers and Presidents only due to the
Dargah Sharif of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin
Chishty (Radiyallaho Ta’ala Anhu). It is
said that if the Great Hazrat Khwaja Baba (R.A.)
does not call and grant prior consent no one
can visit his Shrine, where the Kingdom and
Crown, Ministry and Victory, Power and fame
are granted and distributed.
Mrs. Indira Gandhi has made several visits
in the past to the Shrine of Hazrat Khwaja
Gharib Nawaz (Radiyallaho Ta’ala Anhu). Mrs.
Gandhi entered politics with her late father
Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru.
This is the first occasion when the toughest
security measure was taken for her visit.
She did not include PUSHKAR on her visit
although all security steps were taken from
the administration point of view at PUSHKAR
Helipad.
