AJMER
MAGAZINE
The Ajmer Magazine is one of the most
important places in the history of Ajmer.
This is a massive fortified square place
built by Emperor Akbar on the northern side
of Ajmer City. It was used as the residence
of the Mughal Emperors and Kings during
their visit to the Dargah of Khwaja Sahib
R.A.A. (peace to his soul) at Ajmer. Now
this building, Akbar's Magazine, is used as
Rajputana Museum. This building is made of
Khattu (sand stone). The city wall and
Daulat Khana took three years to build.
